The AALA Roundup is the annual gathering of the LGBT community and friends to celebrate recovery. In addition to our local Southern California guests, we welcome sober and serene AA and Al-Anon members from around the country and the world.
Our theme this year is We Are Not Saints. This truly captures our journey of “progress, not perfection.” And as the convention proves each year, we can hone our spiritual path while having a terrific time along the way.
We look forward to seeing you at the Burbank Marriott Hotel & Convention Center over Memorial Day weekend, May 25–28, 2012. In the meantime, check our website each month to find out about our upcoming fundraising—and fun-raising!—events. They are a great way to make new friends and recharge your sobriety and serenity. (We do ask all attendees to honor the 11th Tradition of personal anonymity with regard to photos, videos, printed material, Internet and postings on social network sites.)
It takes a lot of people to put together the AALA Roundup. We need volunteers throughout the year to work with our committee chairs and help organize fundraisers. If you would like to donate your time and talents and “give freely of what you find,” please join us. CLICK HERE to volunteer.
